Your Questions, Answered.

What are Clinician-Guided Programs?

Clinician-guided programs are structured treatment pathways where individuals receive professional support from qualified healthcare providers. These programs are tailored to each person’s needs and overseen by a multidisciplinary clinical team.

This method is gaining recognition for its potential in treating treatment-resistant conditions. It allows faster absorption compared to oral medications and is always supervised by a healthcare professional to ensure safety and effectiveness.

The therapy is typically delivered over a three-month timeline, with phased visits:

  • Induction (Month 1): 8 sessions (2 per week)
  • Maintenance (Month 2): 4 sessions (1 per week)
  • Ongoing (Month 3+): 1 session per week or fortnight, tailored to individual response

GoodMind Therapeutic’s clinician-guided programs are generally designed for:

  • Adults experiencing ongoing mental health symptoms or chronic conditions, especially those who haven’t found relief with previous treatments.
  • Those who have not responded to previous interventions or are seeking additional support.

To confirm eligibility, you can start by filling out the screening form. Requirements may vary depending on the program.

You can start by completing our screening form, which helps determine whether our clinician-guided programs may be a good fit for your needs. Once we receive your form, one of our clinical team members will contact you to discuss your mental health history and assess your eligibility.

Low moods are a natural part of life, and for many people, they’re temporary and manageable. However, for up to 47% of Australians, persistent low mood can be part of a broader mental health challenge that significantly impacts daily life.

It can look different for everyone, but common experiences include:

  • A loss of motivation or interest in things you once enjoyed
  • Difficulty focusing or completing tasks
  • Feeling isolated or disconnected from others

Low mood can often be triggered by significant life changes, such as moving house, the loss of a loved one, or a relationship breakdown as well as by ongoing stressors like financial instability. Lifestyle factors, including poor sleep, limited physical activity, and cycles of negative thinking, can also contribute to how we feel.

However, external circumstances aren’t always the cause. For many people, changes in mood may be linked to natural fluctuations in brain chemistry or hormonal levels, even when there’s no clear external trigger.
