Introducing an innovative new treatment option for DVA Patients.
Full funding of this therapy is possible if approved by the DVA.
GoodMind Therapeutics is able to offer a cutting-edge treatment option utilising a new intranasal medicine, recently registered on the ARTG, for eligible DVA patients facing treatment-resistant symptoms.
Intranasal therapy is currently administered only in Sydney, and may be suitable for you if you have tried two or more conventional medications in your current episode of low mood or feelings of despair without experiencing the desired relief.
We are now also screening patients in the NSW Central Coast and in Queensland – Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Townsville. If eligible, treatment can begin in early 2025.
Fill in the screening form below to register your interest in intranasal therapy and one of our medical specialists will be in touch.
Full funding of this therapy is possible if approved by the DVA on a case-by-case basis.
The cost of treatment may be fully-funded by the DVA for eligible patients if approved, and on a case-by-case basis. Our team will discuss details with you.
At this stage, treatment is administered in Sydney but we are now screening patients for Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Townsville and NSW Central Coast for treatment starting in early 2025.
Eligible patients embarking on this journey will undergo a structured screening and treatment program, comprising three essential phases.
You must complete an initial screening with a Nurse Practitioner, and then a Psychiatrist.
Please fill in the form on this page and one of our medical practitioners will be in touch to start the process.
Over four weeks, patients will engage in 2 sessions per week to initiate their treatment journey.
Following induction, patients transition to a maintenance phase, attending 1 session per week for 4 weeks to sustain their progress.
As treatment progresses beyond the initial 8 weeks, the frequency of sessions will be individually tailored, occurring either weekly or fortnightly to accommodate the patient’s evolving needs while ensuring continued therapeutic response.
Under the careful guidance of our qualified medical personnel, patients will receive thorough monitoring throughout the administration of the intranasal medication post-treatment.
For the safety and well-being of our patients, driving following treatment sessions is not permitted.
