Your Questions, Answered.

What are clinician-guided programs at GoodMind?

Clinician-guided programs at GoodMind are structured esketamine therapy courses delivered in a dedicated clinical setting by AHPRA-registered psychiatrists and mental health nurses, designed for adults with treatment-resistant depression.

Esketamine therapy at GoodMind is delivered by a clinical team led by AHPRA-registered psychiatrists, supported by mental health nurses and nurse practitioners at every clinic site.

Esketamine therapy is safe when delivered under the strict in-clinic monitoring protocol used at GoodMind, and Spravato has one of the largest randomised evidence bases of any rapid-acting antidepressant. Intranasal esketamine has been TGA-registered for treatment-resistant depression since March 2021 and PBS-listed since May 2025.

A full esketamine therapy course at GoodMind runs for a minimum of 8 weeks, with most patients continuing in maintenance for several months depending on their clinical response.

Yes, the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) has subsidised Spravato (esketamine) for eligible adults with treatment-resistant depression since 1 May 2025, making it the first new PBS-listed medicine for major depression in more than three decades.

Summary of the pivotal TRANSFORM and SUSTAIN trial programs, real-world evidence, and MADRS outcome data for clinical reference.

Summary of Clinical Evidence

Spravato is the only TGA-registered, PBS-subsidised ketamine-class medicine for TRD in Australia and carries the most robust Phase 3 RCT evidence base for any rapid-acting antidepressant currently available. The PBS listing from May 2025 reflects the TGA’s assessment of safety and efficacy across the TRANSFORM and SUSTAIN program.

Evidence context

Long-term safety and efficacy data are drawn from the SUSTAIN-2 and SUSTAIN-3 open-label extension studies. These studies support a broadly consistent safety profile with extended use. Referring clinicians should note that data beyond 12 months of continuous use remains limited.
