Home Support for First Responders
For many first responders, accessing mental health care can be challenging due to long wait periods, limited availability of providers, or the demands of their work schedules.
GoodMind Therapeutics provides mental health related services for police officers, paramedics, and firefighters across Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Melbourne, and Darwin. Our aim is to offer person-centred care within these locations, delivered by qualified clinicians in a supportive clinical environment.
We are continuing to grow our service availability so that more first responders can access appropriate support when they need it.
At GoodMind Therapeutics, we are committed to providing mental health related services for first responders within a supportive and clinically supervised environment. We recognise that each individual’s experience is unique, and we aim to offer care that is respectful of the challenges faced by those who serve our communities.
Eligible first responders may be able to access these services privately or, where applicable, through established support or workers compensation pathways.
Each first responder receives a comprehensive assessment to ensure the mental health support provided is both relevant and effective.
Recognising that no two experiences are alike, we provide an individualised treatment framework for every first responder. Each program is guided by evidence-based practice and clinical assessment to ensure the most appropriate and effective care is delivered.
As our network of clinics expands across Australia, we’re proud to support more first responders in Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Melbourne, and Darwin with tailored mental health care designed around their needs.
If you’re a first responder with an accepted workers compensation claim, our mental health therapies may be partially or fully funded through your insurer, depending on your eligibility and treatment plan.
